Lady Eagles win two, lose two at Florida Beach Bash

Bounce back with triumphs after each shut-out loss.

Campbellsville High School’s Lady Eagles were shut out twice, but still managed a 2-2 trip to the Florida Beach Bash last week.
The Lady Eagles (3-6) fell to ranked Glasgow 4-0 on April 3 with Tiffany Slone and Melanie Brockman having a single and walk each for CHS.
On April 4, Campbellsville hammered Fairdale 21-1 in three innings with Jessie Cash and Karissa Atkinson going 3-4. Brenna wethington had two hits and four RBI while Cash, Atkinson, Hannah Taylor and Amythyst McColley all had three-RBI games.
Crestview (Fla.) blanked the Lady Eagles 8-0 on April 5 with Slone and Mary Brower having the lone Campbellsville hits.
CHS concluded its trip with a 2-1, eight-inning triumph against Whitesville Trinity.
After a sacrifice by Destiny Wilson, back-to-back hits by Taylor and Cash produced the game-winning tally with Taylor having two hits in the April 6 contest.
