Lady Eagles upend Portland Christian 37-16

Campbellsville High School’s Lady  Eagles posted their fourth victory of the season with a 37-16 Monday night home win over Portland Christian.
Coach Cameron Jackson’s club led 21-12 at the half and out-scored the visitors 16-4 in the second half.
Tiffany Slone led a balanced CHS attack with 13 points while Brittany Vaught added eight and Heather Watson and Masi Wilson six apiece.
Vaught also grabbed six rebounds and Slone had eight steals.
The Lady Eagles (5-9) play at Green County in the Touchstone Energy Fifth Region All "A" Classic on Jan. 17.
