Campbellsville High School's Lady Eagles dropped its district softball opener on Wednesday before besting Hart County on Thursday.
The Lady Eagles fell 7-2 at Adair County as the Lady Indians raced out to a 5-1 advantage.
Ashley Bates had two hits for CHS while Danielle Morris, Ashley Kessinger, Megan Shively and Tiffany Slone had one apiece.
The Lady Eagles pushed across three runs in the fourth inning to conquer Hart County 5-3 at home.
Winning pitcher Amber Gamboa and Hannah Taylor had two RBI apiece for Campbellsville, with those two plus Kessinger, Bates, Slone and Destiny Wilson contributing a hit each.
Gamboa struck out six while scattering seven hits and three walks during her route-going performance.
The Lady Eagles (6-5) fell to Washington County 14-5 in the Touchstone Energy All "A" Classic on Friday at Bethlehem. Green County hammered Washington County 22-0 for the crown.
