Green County’s Lady Dragons scored the first 10 points en route to a 57-20 home win over Taylor County on Friday night.
Reagan Pollock’s lay-up with 54.8 seconds left in the opening frame put the Lady Cardinals on the scoreboard.
Green County (4-2) increased its lead to 26-7 at the half and held a 44-13 advantage going to the final eight minutes with a continuous clock.
Senior Rachel Marr and junior Kayla Bale led a balanced Lady Dragon attack with 11 points apiece while sophomore Hannah Givens had nine points off the GCHS bench.
