Green County, which returns much of its team from a year ago, raced out to leads of 20-8, 38-18 and 56-27 and cruised past the homestanding Campbellsville High School Lady Eagles 69-42 on Tuesday night in Paul J. Coop Gymnasium.
Megan Hartfield led a balanced Lady Dragon attack with 19 points while Brittany Estes scored 12 and reserve Jordan Perkins nine.
Eighth-grader Tiffany Slone led Mike Sneed's Lady Eagles with 13 points while junior Bronte Karr added 11 and eighth-grader Destiny Wilson nine.
Campbellsville did win the junior varsity encounter 36-30.
