KSP drug roundup leads to arrests

Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 15, KSP Special Response Team, Columbia Area High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Task Force, Marion County Sheriff's Office and Lebanon City Police executed 17 arrest warrants last Thursday in a drug roundup. A Campbellsville man was among those charged.

A Marion County grand jury issued the warrants after a year-long investigation.

Benjamin Sallee, 19, of Campbellsville, was charged with second-degree selling a controlled substance and selling a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Also arrested and charged with various drug crimes were Sidney Jefferies of Greensburg, William C. Tate, Tyler Sangster, William Steven Deering II, Stanley Tungate, Brandon Smith, Ronald Cowherd, Lisa Cox, Nathan Smith, Christopher Harrington, Richard Harrington, David Tucker and Patrick Ridgeway of Lebanon, Russell McCauley and Samuel Mullins of St. Francis and Francis Hagan, Joshua Salazar, Mary Delonjay and Linda Williams of Loretto.

The defendants were lodged at the Marion County Detention Center.
