Knights knock down Eagles 75-34

Marion county races out to 22-1 first-quarter advantage.

Marion County led 22-1 at the first-quarter stop and never looked back en route to a 75-34 rout of the Campbellsville High School Eagles on Friday night.
Mason Wethington led the Eagles (0-6) with nine points while Demontez Smith had seven.
Carlos Litsey and Brandon Knopp had 14 apiece for the Knights (7-1).
Campbellsville begins play tonight in the First and Farmers National Bank/Lindsey Wilson College Holiday Classic at Adair County’s John Burr Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles play Richmond Model at 3:30 (ET). The tourney continues through Wednesday with the Citizens Bank/Campbellsville University Holiday Classic slated for Dec. 28-30 in Paul J. Coop Gymnasium.
