Kilby family gathers for annual reunion

The annual Kilby family and friends reunion took place Saturday, Oct. 20 at Acton Retreat Center with 48 people present.

Those attending from out of state were: Ella Kilby Wagner, Peter and Sharon Wagner Mai from Ocala, Fla.; Larry Wagner of Jacksonville, Fla.; Vicki VanCleave and Stan Lawrence of Midlothian, Va.; Michael VanCleave and Bill and Ruth Kilby VanCleave of Boulder, Colo.; John and Betty Rogers of Bristol, Tenn.; Don and Carol Kilby Edwards of Abingdon, Md.; and Millie Kilby of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Those from Kentucky were: Naomi Kilby Jones, Roger and Skip Jones and Heather Jones Hall, all of Owensboro; and Launita Kilby Bonneville and Hannah Bartley of Erlanger.

Taylor County relatives and friends attending included: Leona Kilby Pike, Paul Pike, Elizabeth Sue Whited King, the Rev. Harlin and Gerrie Kilby Parker, Randy Jacob Parker, Albert Leslie Kilby, Jimmie and Regina Kilby Graham, Dorothy Kilby Bault, Olyn and Cozetta Hughes Sprowles, Andrea and Jessica Matney Myers, Carl, Amy and Leigh Taylor Hicks, Herlene McGaha Kilby, George and Johanna Pike, Gene and Shirley Kilby Matney, Alan and Pam Pike, Chris and Karen Pike Delk, Logan Delk and Jacob Delk.

The oldest person in attendance was Naomi Jones; the youngest was Hannah Bartley. Ruth and Bill VanCleave and Michael VanCleave traveled the farthest to attend.

Next year's reunion will be on Oct. 18 at Acton Retreat Center.
