Kentucky State Police statistics

During the month of June, there were 16 traffic collisions investigated by the Kentucky State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Taylor, Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Washington.

There were two fatalities during the month of June in the Post 15 area. Russell Veatch of Finley was killed in Marion County on June 10. Hallie Mae Childers of Campbellsville was killed in Taylor County on June 23.

This brings the Post 15 yearly fatality count to 20 compared with 18 through this same period in 2011.
