Kentucky State Police Statistics

During the month of December, there were 25 traffic collisions investigated by Kentucky State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Taylor, Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Washington.

There were two fatal collisions during the month of December in the Post 15 area.

Lesia Brinson of Albany was killed in Clinton County on Dec. 11.

Derek Caffee of Edmonton was killed in Metcalfe County on Dec. 21.

This brings the yearly fatality count to 36 compared with 39 through this same period in 2011.
