Senior Brianne Coe of Russell County birdied the final hole for a 2-under par 70 to win the Taylor County Lady Cardinal Classic on Saturday at the Campbellsville Country Club.
The Lady Lakers shot a team total of 325  to defeat host Taylor County by six shots.
Glasgow (333) finished in third place while Allen  County-Scottsville (353) was fourth and Barren County (360) rounded out the top five.
Coe, who is still uncommitted for her collegiate choice, sizzled on the back nine with an eagle 3 on the par 5 12th hole and then followed up with birdies on the 13th and 18th holes to shoot 32.
Runner-up Ellen Kehoe of Taylor County was tied with Coe after birdies on the 11th and 14th holes coming to the 18th but couldn’t match Coe’s birdie.
Emily Alexander of Glasgow finished in third with an even-par 72 with Shayna Cockrill of Allen County-Scottsville in fourth with a 2-over par 74 and Leslie Roy (Russell County) and Kylie Withrow (Barren County) in fifth with 80s.
Louisville Trinity’s Shamrocks upset defending state champion West Jessamine, who struggled on the back nine to shoot 304 to finish,  three shots back.
Junior Zach Mattingly fired a 1-under par 71 to lead Trinity’s balance attack while West Jessamine was led by a pair of seniors, Fred Allen Meyer and Austin Swentzel, who both shot 75.
Host Taylor County finished third with a team score of 316. The Cardinals were led by junior Derek Keeton, who shot a 1-under par 71.
Corbin (320) finished in fourth place while Anderson County was fifth (325).
Individually, Mattingly defeated Keeton and Barrett James of North Laurel in a three-man playoff.
James made a bogey on the first hole of sudden death and was eliminated as Mattingly and Keeton made clutch par putts.
Keeton missed a 3 1/2-foot putt on the second hole for the win and then missed a 2 1/2-foot putt on the third hole as Mattingly knocked in a 6-foot putt to win.
Senior Connor Maguet of Corbin finished in fourth place with an even-par 72.  Seniors Andrew McKinney of Danville and Andrew Scalos of Taylor County tied for fifth place with 1-over par 73s.
