KBC Messengers appoint new board members

Messengers at the Kentucky Baptist Convention's recent annual meeting approved new members for the Kentucky Baptist Convention Mission Board and the boards of several affiliated institutions and agencies.

Local Board appointments are as follows:

Campbellsville University Trustees:

2012 terms - Barry G. Bertram, Teresa Cassell, Fuller Harding, Dr. James Jones and Forest F. Shely, all of Campbellsville; Jerry Blankenship and Johnnie Clark, both of Louisville; Pat Burkhart of Ft. Mitchell; James E. "Buzz" Cason of Nashville, Tenn.; John T. "Jay" Conner of Brentwood, Tenn.; and Tommy Valentine of Danville.

The Rev. Skip Alexander of Campbellsville, who serves on the board of directors for the Western Recorder, was among the appointees.

In addition, trustees and directors from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Kentucky Baptist Assemblies, Kentucky Ethics League, Oneida Baptist Institute, University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky Baptist Foundation, Sunrise Children's Services and the Western Recorder were appointed.

Bill Henderson of Campbellsville was also appointed to the KBC Mission Board.
