For Campbellsville Police Officer Ben Riggs, the greatest reward is a job well done.

"I just come to work and do my job," Riggs said. "I go home with a clear conscience, knowing that I've treated everyone equally."

A Campbellsville Police officer since 2002, Riggs is 2007's Officer of the Year.

Awarded annually during the police department's Christmas dinner, Campbellsville Police officers nominate fellow officers for the award. Supervisors select the winner from the list of nominations.
