Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr. released a legal opinion last week regarding bonding requirements for Kentucky court facilities construction projects.
On March 4, Minton announced that he had retained construction law attorney William G. Geisen to determine whether current court facilities construction projects were appropriately bonded.
According to Minton's opinion, the judicial center under construction in Taylor County is one of several projects insufficiently bonded.
