Jazzing it up

Winning the title of Kentucky Junior Miss on Saturday, Jan. 12 would be reason enough to celebrate. But, for Megan Romines, it would also make a wonderful birthday gift for her father.

"The 12th is my dad's birthday, so he keeps saying, 'That'd be great if you could win.'"

Romines says she's been "going crazy" with the piano over the past few months. But she also says she's ready to go.

In August, Romines was named Taylor County Junior Miss. She also took home awards for fitness, scholastic and self-expression at the local program.
