Efforts to complete Taylor County's newest industrial park received a funding boost last week.
U.S. Rep Ron Lewis secured $98,000 in funding for the Heartland Commerce and Technology Park in Campbellsville as part of the fiscal year 2008 Omnibus Appropriations bill signed into law last week by President Bush.
The funds will be used to develop two sites in the park.
The Industrial Development Authority Board bought the site - located on KY 55, near Blue Hole Road - in October 2003 for $2.24 million.
