Schwoebel and Janes playing in Junior All-Star game

Campbellsville High School's Aaron Schwoebel and Ben Janes will play in the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches' Association East-West Junior All Star Games this weekend.

Schwoebel and Janes are on the West squad.

Central Hardin's Todd Thompson and Mark "Shiny" Kearney from Campbellsville are the KHSBCA's Fifth Region Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year.

Kearney's award means three of the last four coaches of the year from the Fifth Region have local ties since Kearney and last year's winners - head coach Kirby Smith of Campbellsville and Central Hardin assistant Demond Thomas - are Campbellsville University graduates.
