A Campbellsville auctioneer is dead following a helicopter crash near the Kentucky/Tennessee line Monday.
According to Associated Press reports, three people were killed when a helicopter became entangled in power lines after liftoff. The crash occurred in Jamestown, Tenn., about 60 miles northwest of Knoxville.
Bobby Gene Curry, 66, of Greensburg was killed in the crash along with William Mark Shearer, 53, of Albany and the pilot, Trevor Noble, 24, of Nashville.
Curry had worked as an auctioneer for Christie Realty Co. for the past several years.
