Harris, Bishop spark Tigers past Lindsey

Campbellsville University trailed by eight (33-28) before scoring 29 of the final 34 points to down Lindsey Wilson College 57-38 on Thursday night in Columbia.

Coach Keith Adkins’ Tigers, who improved to 14-5 overall and 2-1 vs. Mid-South Conference foes, were led by reserve Caleb Harris’ 18 points, including four three-pointers, while T.J. Bishop and Nestor Colmenares added 10 points apiece.

Bishop had several key baskets down the stretch while Colmenares also collected nine rebounds, seven off the defensive boards.

Eric McPherson had 13 points for Lindsey Wilson (10-9, 1-2) and Andrija Tintor added 10.

The Tigers entertained Rio Grande over the weekend and play at the University of the Cumberlands on Thursday before hosting St. Catharine on Saturday afternoon.
