Kathryn Doss, a Campbellsville Middle School fifth grader, reacted to her project in "Grossology." CMS fifth and sixth graders enrolled in Grossology, an elective class taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays by sixth grade science teacher Jan Speer, and recently began a study of the "Science of Gross Things." Students made pretend mucus while learning facts about the nose such as how our bodies produce mucus every 20 minutes. Students in this class have also studied facts about saliva and blisters.
