A Greensburg man has been arrested and charged with breaking into a home in Taylor County.
According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies responded on Saturday at about 4 p.m. to a complaint of a burglary at a home on Clara Lane.
The report states that a resident came home and saw his front door had been forced open. When he went inside, the report states, he saw a man identified as Christopher Reynolds, 28, of 517 Columbia Highway, exiting the rear of the home. The man later found some of his property was missing.
Another witness told deputies that he or she saw Reynolds running through a field behind the home, the report states.
After a search, deputies found Reynolds near a neighborhood in south Campbellsville. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and lodged at the Taylor County Detention Center.
Reynolds pleaded not guilty to the charge on Monday in Taylor District Court. Bond was set at $20,000 cash and he is expected to appear in court again on Wednesday, May 14.
