Grateful for Taylor County upbringing

-A A +A
By The Staff

In a recent telephone conversation with a cousin, Rose Richerson Wise of Brenham, Texas, we exchanged several complimenting comments about our lives in Taylor County, which I want to pass on to those who knew us in our youth and are still alive to read this.

Through example, our families and neighbors instilled in us values and codes of conduct, which have stood us in good stead in our communities. Our teachers taught us the value of learning.

So thank you Taylor County, Ky. for having provided us sturdy blocks upon which to base our principles.
