Goody’s supporting troops with fashion

Goody’s is offering shoppers a fashionable way to show their patriotic spirit this Fourth of July.
When customers purchase one of Goody’s American flag-themed reusable shopping totes, all proceeds go directly to Operation Homefront, a national organization providing emergency assistance and other vital support to the families of U.S. soldiers.
Making it an even bigger win-win, Goody’s is giving every shopper who purchases the tote a $5 Bounce Back Reward good on any $25 purchase.
With almost 60,000 bags sold and close to $260,000 raised since the launch in February, the retail store will continue to sell the bags through the end of the year.
Created especially for this effort, the sturdy reusable canvas tote features an American flag design and the slogan: “Helping Our Military & Environment” and is sold in all five Stage Stores brands, including Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles and Stage.
Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization that provides military families with aid in the form of grocery store gift cards, short-term transitional living at Operation Homefront villages, donated vehicles for those who can’t afford one and physical and emotional support for wounded soldiers and their families.
