The oldest Girl Scout camp in Kentuckiana is celebrating a milestone next month. Camp Shantituck in Bullitt County turns 80 years old, and Girl Scouts are planning a birthday bash to mark the occasion.
The birthday celebration will take place at Camp Shantituck this Sunday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Anyone who would like to reminisce about a camping experience at Shantituck or just wants to tour the facility is invited. Guests will have the opportunity to view decades-old photos and other memorabilia of the camp and refreshments will be served.
