If you've been having trouble getting into the holiday spirit, this past weekend was made just for you. And there's plenty more to come in the next few weeks.
From the live nativity scene at Miller Park - and the accompanying Christmas music at the amphitheater, Saturday's Christmas parade and Sunday's Campbellsville Woman's Club Christmas Home Tour to the concerts over the weekend - and yet to come - at Campbellsville University, there were plenty of opportunities for entertainment.
And the good news is that the live nativity and caroling at the park will continue each weekend until Christmas.
Monday also featured the annual Christmas Spectacular presentation by students at Campbellsville Elementary, Middle and High schools.
This afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m., all children who participated in this year's Letters to Santa and Christmas coloring contests are invited to have cookies with Santa at the News-Journal office.
On Friday, Taylor County Elementary School PTA will host "Supper With Santa" from 6 to 8 p.m. in the school's cafeteria.
Next on the community calendar is Sunday, when the Taylor County High School Music Department will host its annual Christmas concert at 2 p.m. in the TCHS gymnasium featuring the concert choir, men's choir, women's choir and concert band.
And that's not even counting all the Christmas programs at local churches.
So if you're having trouble with your "holiday spirit," Campbellsville and Taylor County is the place to be.
