Kaviar Forge & Gallery in Louisville is hosting its second exhibition of artwork created by people who live or work in Kentucky.

Organizers say they are interested in all media and want to hear from all artists, not just professionals. The last exhibit was limited to just the Cifton and Cresenthill neighborhoods, this time the exhibit is open to the entire state.

Kaviar Forge & Gallery is devoted to the discovery, introduction and promotion of emerging artists and all talents. All artists are welcome including painters, graphists, potters, photographers, jewelers, weavers, blacksmiths and others.

Artists are asked to submit work for upcoming competition by April 21. The exhibition will begin in July.

The application fee is $25 for three images per application. Those interested should submit digital images on a CD or via e-mail in JPEG format.

Applicants should include the size, whether the piece is for sale, the sale price and the media and technique used.

The best of show prize will be $500 and a solo exhibition.

For those interested in participating, send images to Blair Arseneaux, Kaviar Forge & Gallery, 1718 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, Ky. 40206 or by e-mail at Blair@KaviarGallery.com.
