Several will vie in next month's General Election for the 4th District Magistrate seat vacated by Marshall Caulk.
Caulk resigned in March, citing health reasons. A month later, Kenneth Minor was appointed by Gov. Steve Beshear to fill Caulk's position until the November General Election.
After Caulk's resignation, local Democrat and Republican party representatives each met to nominate a candidate living in the 4th District to run for the position in the General Election.
