Food inspections for May 2

The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

  •  85 to 100, pass inspection.
  •  70 to 84, business must be reinspected within 30 days.
  •  Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn't reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.

 

  •  Happy Days Ole Time Soda Fountain and Grille of East Main Street in Campbellsville received a health code score of 90. A pie cooler and eggs were out of temperature, thermometers weren't found in coolers at front counter, deep freezer was in poor repair, wiping cloths weren't stored in a sanitizing solution and shelving at a grill, the bottom of coolers were soiled and buildup was found in a deep freezer. At a follow-up inspection, the restaurant received a health code score of 93. A pie cooler was out of temperature, deep freezer was in poor repair, the bottom of cooler/freezers were soiled and a deep freezer had ice buildup. At another follow-up inspection, the restaurant received a health code score of 96. Pie cooler wasn't holding temperature, deep freezer was in poor repair, the bottom of cooler/freezer was soiled and a deep freezer had ice buildup.
  •  Rocky Top Farm of Old Summersville Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  The Little Philly of South Central Avenue in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  Little Caesar's of East Broadway in Campbellsville received a health code score of 98. No lid was found on a trashcan in the restroom.
  •  Maria's Pizzeria and Donuts of New Columbia Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 98. Exteriors of bulk storage containers weren't clean and ceiling tiles were damaged.
  •  Swan's Landing Catering of New Columbia Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.
  •  Green River Lake Marina of Lone Valley Road in Campbellsville received a food health code score of 95 and a retail score of 97. Grab-and-go sandwiches in a reach-in cooler did not have a conspicuous thermometer, no effective hair restraints were worn during the food preparation process, retail shelf food storage/display was improper and men's restroom floor was in poor repair.
  •  Fastrack #8 of New Columbia Road in Campbellsville received food and retail health code scores of 98. No lid was found on dumpsters outside that were overflowing.
