The following businesses were inspected by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department using the scale below.

• 85 to 100, pass inspection.

• 70 to 84, business must be reinspected within 30 days.

• Less than 70, a suspension of permit notice is sent to owner; if owner doesn't reply within 10 days, the permit will be revoked and the business will be closed.

• Subway of East Broadway in Campbellsville received a health code score of 95, citing one violation. An employee was using bare hand contact with ready to eat food products. The violation was immediately corrected and the restaurant received a new health code score of 100, citing no violations.

• Taylor Regional Hospital of Old Lebanon Road in Campbellsville received a health code score of 100, citing no violations.

• Benningfield's Country Market of Campbellsville received a health code score of 84, citing seven violations. Potentially hazardous ready to eat food items weren't date marked, there was bare hand contact with ready to eat food items, the person in charge wasn't able to demonstrate proper food safety principles and was given six months to correct this, there was no sanitizer test strip, employees weren't using the proper dish washing order, though this violation was corrected, countertop was in poor repair and floors weren't clean in preparation area.
