Preliminary statistics indicate that five people died in five separate crashes on Kentucky's roadways from Monday, Nov. 12, through Sunday, Nov. 18.
A single-fatality motor vehicle crash occurred in Floyd, Hardin, Jefferson, Nelson and Warren counties. The victim in Nelson County was not wearing a seat belt and the crash involved the suspected use of alcohol.
Through Nov. 18, preliminary statistics indicate that 641 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2012. This is eight fewer than reported for this time period in 2011.
