Wallace Feese received the Taylor Regional Hospital Legend Award on Nov. 12 at the annual TRH service awards banquet at Campbellsville University.
Feese is a 32-year team member at TRH and is the director of laboratory.
The following was stated about Feese on his nomination form.
"Wallace has been a dedicated team member for many years. Wallace is very concerned with policy and procedures, always keeping the patient first.
"He is committed to giving the patients good, quality care, along with helping his staff do the same. He has led the lab through many state and joint commission surveys. He cares about getting the job done right the first time.
"Wallace comes in early and works late often. He comes in on the weekends and nights to host staff meetings to prevent his team from coming in on their off time. Wallace, without a doubt, handles all matters professionally, strives to truly have the best lab possible and meet all standards every day."
Feese is active at his church, serves on the board of directors for organizations in Adair County and enjoys his grandchildren and his farm.
Other nominees for the award were Jan McNear, Lee Ann Muncie and Mary Anne Rice.
