Campbellsville High School's Fellowship of Christian Athletes enjoyed an action-packed weekend Nov. 3-4 as they traveled to Montgomery County High School for the 22nd annual Weekend of Champions FCA State Convention.

The members experienced a weekend of perspiration and inspiration with students from all over the state.

Jeff Lovingood was the main speaker for the event. He is a former University of Tennessee football chaplain and now serves as the student pastor for Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn. Lovingood challenged the students to "Step out of the boat!"

Praise and worship music was lead by Live Fish, a band from Somerset. Several athletes from the University of Kentucky gave their testimonies, and an appearance was made by the Kentucky Wildcat mascot.

Huddle sessions for devotionals and reflection were also part of the more quiet time. Some of the huddle leaders were students from Campbellsville University.

Soccer, football/softball throw, cross country, basketball, pushups, golf, sit-ups and chariot races were just some of the head-to-head competitions among the schools.
