Farm Credit Services of Mid-America has announced the hiring of Tyler Williams as a summer intern.
Williams will be working out of the Campbellsville FCS office. The FCS summer internship program is geared toward college sophomores and juniors who want to work hard while gaining valuable work experience.
FCS provides interns with realistic on-the-job exposure in one of our offices located in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or Tennessee. Interns work with staff to help market, sell and analyze financial products.
Williams will be a senior at the University of Kentucky this fall where he is seeking a major in public service and leadership with a minor in agriculture economics. At UK, he is a College of Agriculture Ambassador, president of the Collegiate FFA, a member of Ag Student Council and a reporter for the Agri-Business Club.
"I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with Farm Credit this summer and have already realized what a beneficial learning experience this will be," Williams said.
He is the son of Greg and Donna Williams of Campbellsville.
"We are very pleased to offer Tyler this position which will provide him hands-on experience and opportunities for future growth," said Robert Monk, vice president of financial services.
"He will be a valuable member of our team, and has been as an active member of his community. He embodies the FCS commitment to providing excellent service to local farms and families."
