Ennis' eight-trey night propels CU

Myers scores 15, grabs 11 boards

Justin Ennis canned eight three-pointers, five in the first half, to lead the Campbellsville University men past Indiana University-Northwest 75-58 on Monday night in the Tigers’ home season opener.
Ennis, a senior, finished with 26 points and also had six rebounds, two assists and two steals while junior Jordan Myers added 15 points and 11 rebounds for coach Keith Adkins’ club (2-0).
Transfer Addison Smith added nine points and five assists for the Tigers.
Campbellsville hosts the University of Pikeville (women at 6 and men at 8) in its Mid-South Conference opener on Thursday and will entertain Virginia-Wise on Saturday afternoon (women at 2 and men at 4). The Tigers will play five MSC tilts before Christmas.
