Edwards, Taylor to wed

Kaitlyn Sue Edwards and Alex Clayborn Taylor

Kaitlyn Sue Edwards and Alex Clayborn Taylor of Bowling Green announce their engagement.

Edwards is the daughter of Kelvin and Karen Edwards of Summersville.

Her grandparents are Buddy and Mildred Harris of Campbellsville, Ernestine "Dumpy" Edwards of Greensburg and the late Homer Edwards.

Taylor is the son of David and Alicia Taylor of Greensburg.

His grandparents are Ellis and Martha Shelton and Bill and Suzanne Taylor of Greensburg.

Edwards is a 2007 graduate of Green County High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Western Kentucky University in 2011. She is employed at Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary School in Bowling Green.

Taylor is a 2008 graduate of Green County High School. He will complete a Bachelor of Science degree in history and social studies with a concentration in secondary education from Western Kentucky University in December. He is employed at Western Kentucky University.

The ceremony will be Saturday, June 23, at 5 p.m. at Lowell Avenue Baptist Church in Campbellsville. A reception will follow. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.

The couple will make their home in Bowling Green.
