WalkAmerica participants, about 100 strong, caught a gap in the rainy weather Saturday at Miller Park and pulled off a three-mile walk for the March of Dimes.
The veterans of Taylor and surrounding counties will observe Veterans Day on Monday with a ceremony at the Taylor County war memorial, across from the Taylor County Library.
Laura Butler has recently been named to the dean’s list for the 2001 semester at Cumberland College in Williamsburg.
