Rhonda Gail Campbell, 33, of Phillips Drive in Campbellsville, died Friday, April 11, in Campbellsville.
Chester and Ina Blakeman of Campbellsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 29.
Howell Berry, 60, of Elk Horn, died Wednesday, April 9, at his home.
The annual Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire Department pancake breakfast will be from 5 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 26.
Donald and Nadean Barnett Antle of Campbellsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 25.
Mannsville Homemakers Club met on Thursday, April 10, Roca Rice's home, with 11 members present.

Janna Noe had an emergency appendectomy at Taylor County Hospital last Monday morning. Janna is still in the hospital.
Gladys McKinley returned home last Wednesday from Clearwater, Fla., after spending the winter months there.
Edna Richerson was admitted to Taylor County Hospital last week with a broken hip she received in a fall.

April 12, 1973
Employees of Barbara's Beauty Salon honored Mrs. Barbara Wright with a baby shower last Monday evening. The event was at the salon.
Mr. and Mrs. Otis Wright are the proud parents of a newly adopted daughter, Stephanie Dawn. She arrived at the Wright home on March 6.
Prince and Princess at the Taylor County PTSO Festival were Bradley Pennington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Pennington, and Janet Grooms, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Grooms.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lawson of Lebanon were hosts to a reception in honor of Mr. Lawson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William "Bud" Lawson. The occasion was their 25th anniversary.

Funeral services for Dr. C.E. Murphy, a practicing physician in Taylor and adjoining counties for 45 years, were Wednesday at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He was 72.
Frank Anderson, a salesman for Crabtree Firestone Store here, was recently honored as the winner of the Firestone Dealer Budget Contest for January and February.
Henry Hubbard and son James Walker and Nolan Gilpin were given a birthday dinner on Sunday, April 12, by Mrs. Henry Hubbard and sons Lewis and Clelland at their home on Route 5.

Funeral services were conducted for John Henry Harden, 50 years of age, Sunday at Elkhorn Methodist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Secrete moved on Wednesday to the former H.T. Edwards home at the golf course.
The Scott and Smith Co. removed an iron frame from an awning support in front of their store last Friday that had been in use for about 50 years.

April 13, 1933
George Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Giles, of near town, received severe cuts on his face Saturday morning when the roadster in which he was riding went over a 10-foot embankment about four miles from Cropper in Shelby County.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mikel of Louisville are the parents of a daughter, Betty Joan, born on March 31.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith announce the arrival of a son, Billy B, on April 3.

The Willock and Kerr picture show was closed last week during the Baptist Revival.
Mr. Robert T. Phillips has made preparation to have a private ice cream parlor in his establishment. All necessary equipment has been purchased for the new attraction and will be installed in the next week.
