Donna Wise won her 300th game as coach of the Campbellsville Lady Tigers on Tuesday night when her team defeated sixth ranked Belmont 78-76.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis L. Keltner will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
John Thomas Richardson celebrated his fourth birthday with friends at Kiddieland Day Care on Sept. 26.

Area tobacco warehouse are beginning to prepare for the first day of sales this season on Monday.
Ann Rucker and her daughter, Jessica, were shopping in Lexington on Monday and visited Mr. and Mrs. John Rucker and family.
Senior fullback and linebacker Robin Lawson was chosen as Mr. Football by his Taylor County High School teammates at the Cardinal football banquet on Tuesday in the school cafeteria.

Miss Mary Kaye Rogers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rogers, of Route 3 in Campbellsville, has been selected as State Farm Bureau Queen. Mary Kaye was chosen at the 52nd annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Convention at the executive Inn, Louisville on Nov. 11-14.

Community Thanksgiving services will be at the Ireland Community Center on Wednesday night, Nov. 22, at 7:30 with all the churches in this vicinity operating in the services.
Miss Diane Beard and Master Brent McCubbin were elected as princess and prince at the fall festival sponsored by Campbellsville PTA at Campbellsville High School last Friday night.

The Rev. George R. Gaddie of Campbellsville and Miss Wilma Lester were married on Nov. 21, 1951, at the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church.
Taylor County School Board received the second of four school buses this week, which are scheduled to transport county high school pupils into town. County Superintendent George E. Sapp said he expects to be delivered soon.

What appeared to be a Republican landslide at the halfway mark in the county, ended with Republicans and Democrats splitting the major county offices, two and two. J.P. Hord, Walter Wise, Cleoda Davis and Les Colvin were victorious in their bids.
