Eagles wallop Washington

Campbellsville High School had little trouble in disposing of Washington County 83-52 on Wednesday night in a Touchstone Energy Fifth Region All “A” Classic semi-final game at Caverna.
The Eagles, who were to play the Bardstown-Caverna winner in Saturday’s title tilt, rode the 20-point effort of Jordan Percell to lead 45-26 at intermission.
Matthew Davis took over the reins in the third quarter and tallied 12 of his 16 total points as CHS’ advantage increased to 68-34. Percell finished with 26 and, like Davis, did not play in the fourth frame.
