Campbellsville upended Todd County Central in Monday’s semifinals but came out cold and fell 59-46 to host Glasgow on Tuesday night in the championship game of the T.J. Samson Community Hospital Holiday Classic.

The Eagles (3-4) used the double-digit scoring of Matthew Davis (18), Bryton Taylor (15) and Thomas Downs (11) to roll past Todd County Central 74-51.

However, CHS missed 50 of 68 shots in the 13-point setback to Glasgow 24 hours later.

Downs did record a double-double (13 points and 12 rebounds) while Taylor had 16 points.

Coach Tim Davis’ Eagles begin play in the Coca-Cola/Campbellsville University Holiday Classic on Sunday in Paul J. Coop Gymnasium with the tourney continuing on Monday and Tuesday.
