Campbellsville High School tallied four third-quarter touchdowns and pulled away from visiting Glasgow 40-8 on Friday night.

The Eagles (4-6) led 13-0 at the intermission after a pair of Aaron Schwoebel touchdown passes - a 54-yarder to Thomas downs and a 31-yarder to Donovan Pittman.

Glasgow had two first and goals inside the Eagle 10-yard line in the first half, but the Scotties, coached by former Taylor County head coach Bill Lindsey, could not reach pay dirt.

Michael McCubbin returned the second-half kick-off 82 yards for a score and Thomas Downs tallied on a four-yard run before intercepting a Glasgow (0-10) fake punt and going 45 yards for another score.

McCubbin closed out the Eagle scoring when he bobbled a punt and then went 70 yards down the right sideline.

Campbellsville hosts Fairview (7-3) in a first-round play-off game on Friday.
