Eagles end two-game losing streak with Hart win

Campbellsville High School bounced back from a pair of road losses to upend Hart County 63-46 at home on Tuesday.

The Eagles pulled away from the Raiders with a 21-10 fourth frame.

Thomas Downs and Bryton Taylor paced Campbellsville with 19 and 14 points, respectively, and Downs completed his double-double with 13 rebounds.

The Eagles led Green County by seven (38-31) heading to the final quarter on Saturday night before being out-scored 36-7 in the final eight minutes to lose 67-45 in Greensburg.

Downs had 16 points and Taylor 14 for CHS, who hosts Marion County on Friday in a girl/boy doubleheader and Meade County in a junior varsity/varsity make-up on Saturday.
