Campbellsville High School's unexpected run in the Class A football play-offs ended on Friday night with a 44-6 loss at Hazard in the quarterfinals.
"It could have been different if we had scored early," Eagles' coach Herb Wiseman said.
The Eagles had several chances to lead in the first half, but thwarted three chances inside the Bulldog 20-yard line, twice inside the Hazard 5.
A Michael McCubbin 63-yard kick-off return and Shumari Bridgewater's 10-yard run put the ball on the Hazard 20 before the Bulldogs picked off an Aaron Schwoebel shovel pass.
