Dr. Simmons incorporates 3D X-ray imaging

The office of Dr. Robert L. Simmons recently incorporated a 3D X-ray cone beam CT scanner for patient imaging and diagnostics as part of the dental practice.

Simmons said the equipment is a new and vital part of his practice.

The scanner captures advanced, state-of-the-art volumetric images that increase the quality and accuracy of radiographic dental care. When using the scanner, Simmons says he will have the most accurate anatomic information to plan the placement of dental implants in optimal sites.
