Dr. Eugene H. Shively has been elected to the council of the Southeast Surgical Congress. Shively is a general surgeon who practices in Campbellsville and has practiced at Taylor Regional Hospital for more than 30 years.

The Southeast Surgical Congress is a regional surgical organization that provides opportunities for surgeons and surgeons-in-training to come together for educational, scientific and social purposes to promote and advance the study and practice of surgery.
