A Burkesville woman has had her diversion revoked and will spend three years in prison on a theft charge.
Jessica Ann Sweeney, 32, of 225 Spring Branch Road appeared before Taylor Circuit Court Judge Doughlas M. George on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
In February 2006, Sweeney pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking more than $300. At that time, she was granted a three-year pretrial diversion and ordered to have no contact with Wal-Mart Supercenter and pay $698.82 in restitution.
If she failed the terms of her diversion, Sweeney was to be sentenced to three years in prison.
