Taylor County plays two at John Hardin next

Taylor County may play two games every day as the baseball Cardinals made it six wins in three days after Tuesday’s two wins at Doss.
TCHS started its six-game streak with wins over Green County (5-3 in eight innings) and Fern Creek (4-0) on Saturday.
Tyler Frogge had two RBI vs. Green County while Will Hollingsworth’s two-run double made a mound winner out of Justin Hazel.
Jordan Nicholas pitched the first 6 1/3 innings in the Fern Creek win with Hazel recording the final two outs.
After 6-0, 6-3 wins at Fairdale on Monday, the Cardinals bested Doss 4-1 and Whitefield Academy 3-2 on Tuesday.
Frogge, Hollingsworth and Daniel Carney had two hits against Doss with Nicholas going the distance and allowing only five hits and striking out eight.
Hazel won the nightcap with 10 Ks, no walks and allowed only four hits.
John Robert Wood had two hits and a walk for Taylor County.
The Cardinals play at John Hardin on Saturday against the host Bulldogs and Louisville Central.
