Deputies find marijuana, ask for help with investigation

Taylor County Sheriff's deputies found 25 marijuana plants on Monday, July 1, and are asking for the public to report any marijuana sightings to them.

According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, office staff members received a report from a local hunter at 7 p.m. stating that there might be marijuana growing on property near East Wall Pike Road.

According to the report, deputies went to East Wall Pike Road and found and destroyed 25 partially mature marijuana plants.

The case remains under investigation.
