The Center for Rural Development is accepting applications through March 4 from eighth-grade middle school students in Taylor County interested in developing their skills in math, science and technology this summer at the 2013 Rogers Explorers youth leadership program.
The program, which is three days and two nights on a college campus, provides hands-on learning experiences in these in-demand career fields and builds leadership skills, all while students get to see what it is like to live and study at a leading Kentucky college or university.
