Campbellsville High School rode the 38-point performance of senior Matthew Davis to roll past Green County on the road 65-48 on Saturday night.
The Eagles (9-4) trailed 12-9 after two Skyler Shively free throws with 1:49 left in the opening quarter.
But, Davis, who scored two early baskets, had two late ones to send CHS to the second frame up 15-12.
Davis, who became the boys’ 16th member of the 1,000-point club with his 29 point, tallied 13 points in the second quarter, 11 more in the third period and three steals and lay-ups in the fourth frame.
